Emerald Isle Water Temps for June 2023
Wild month started low then kept increasing rapidly throughout the month. Surf temps had a slope of nearly 0.4°/day increase in temps. with surf hitting 82° and sound at 86° by the end of the month. The surf temps ranged from a low of 72° to a high of 83° with an average of 76.8° +/- 3.5°. We often don’t hit 84° and if we do it’s not until mid to late August. The sound had a low of 70° and a high of 86°, a large 16° differential, with an average of 79.3° +/- 4.3°. Surf temps are blue diamonds, sound red squares.
