Emerald Isle Water Temps for March 2024
March was very wet month and although some roller-coastering, in a month where we normally see a BIG rise in spring water temps, the curve was essentially FLAT! Surf ranged from a high of 61° to a low of 56° (range of only 5°) and averaging 58.5° +/- 1.5. Bogue Sound had a range from a high 65° to a low of 54° averaging 59.5° +/-3.2°. Surf temps are blue diamonds (slope essentially zero), sound are red squares.
