Emerald Isle Water Temps for January 2024
As has been the case all year, although a lot of cold front/warm front swings, temps were again above normal for the month. Surf ranged from a high of 59° to a low of 49° (10° range) and averaging 55.6° +/- 2.5. Bogue Sound had a very wide range from a high 61° to a low of 39° (22° range…WOW) averaging 51.3° +/-4.9°. Surf temps are blue diamonds (slightly negative slope of -0.12°/day), sound are red squares.
