Emerald Isle Water Temperatures for August 2019
Surf had a high of 84°, low of 80° with an average of 81.8°, just about normal for August which is 82.0°. Bogue Sound had a high of 86° and low of 76° with a 10° range from low to high, with an average of 82.5°, the same as July. The surf range was only 4-degrees with most days being 81° or 82° and a slope of slightly negative but nearly horizontal (zero).
