Although August’s temps were still above normal, as usual for July and August as well, they were pretty flat with not much variation between high and low. Surf ranged from a high of 86° to a low of 83° and averaging 84.1°+/- 0.8° and sound ranged from 89° to 80° averaging 84.6° +/- 2.3°. By the way, get ready for the first mullet blow which is usually the last week of August or first week of September with the surf temp averaging 81°. We had a “scout”mullet run on 8/25/23, so it will be soon. Surf temps are blue diamonds, sound red squares.
